Nineteen
North Roaders competed in Round 14 of the Ken Davis Salver. There was
another good ride by the two leaders who both beat their personal bests.
This time it was Roger Bishop who took the ten points. Roger finished with
a time of 22:23, taking 19 seconds off his PB. Darren Rochford, who needs
to win one more race to win the Ken Davis Trophy came past the timekeeper
three seconds behind Bishop. Riding his best time of the year was Richard
Somerset finishing in 23.07. Allan Mendelsohn, Don Hale, Trevor Burke and
Brian Goodwin beat their PB’s. Bruce Metheringham rode his best time of
the year. Guest rider Peter Bissell was the winner on the night with a
time of 20:30.
