ROUND 13 - KEN DAVIS SALVER “10" - BRICKENDON GREEN

There was a tie for first place in round 13 of the Ken Davis Salver. Leading pair Darren Rochford and Roger Bishop both crossed the finishing line with identical times of 22 minutes 44 seconds. Roger’s performance knocked seven seconds off his personal best. Following the two leaders came Richard Somerset with a time of 23:59 to collect another eight points in the weekly series. Marco Arnone was the club’s fourth fastest finisher over the Brickendon Green 10 time trial course in 23:14. Bruce Metheringham finished fifth 34 seconds slower and Trevor Burke picked up five points for sixth place with a time of 25:17.Tim Jenkins and Jim Ewers rode their fist events of the season and both collected points. Jim was the seventh fastest North Roader and Tim was 10th. The actual winner on the night was John McMillan, who clocked a time of 22:23.
