ROUND 12 - KEN DAVIS SALVER “10" - BRICKENDON GREEN

Fourteen North Roaders tackled the Brickendon Green ‘10’ on a good night for racing. The event was won with another good ride by Darren Rochford. He now leads by four points in the from second-placed Roger Bishop. Darren just failed to beat his personal best by one second. He was still 13 seconds faster than Roger with a time of 22:40. An in-form Richard Somerset rode his best time of the year with 23:10 for third place and eight points. Tony Bradford, riding his first Ken Davis Salver event took fourth place 28 seconds behind Richard after passing the time keeper in 23:35 to take seven points. Also riding his best time of the year was Richard Norris. He slashed 18 seconds off his previous best time with 25:38. The actual winner on the night was Whitewebb’s Mark Allen with a fast time of 22:29.
