ROUND 19 – 2003 KEN DAVIS SALVER “10”, BRICKENDON GREEN 

PENULTIMATE ROUND

In the penultimate round of the Brickendon Green “10” there was another huge good turnout this time 37 riders with seventeen North Roaders riding in the Ken Davis Salver. To cater for all the riders with the light fading it was decided that riders would depart every 30 seconds. ast the finishing line in 20:55. In second place was Darren Rochford past the timekeeper in 23:01 for nine points and twenty seconds behind was Richard Somerset, for eight points. Andy Gilbert rode his PB with a time of 28:30. Gian Altomare, Chris Bullock and Tim Jenkins recorded their best times for 2003. The overall winner was Roger Bryant (Blue Sky Cycles) in a fast time of 20:37. Del Evans just missed out by one second his first point of the season. Unfortunately for Richard Norris, he punctured and Graham Thompson had mechanical problems.
