ROUND 5 – 2003 KEN DAVIS SALVER “10”, BRICKENDON GREEN

Despite another windy and cold night, the Brickendon Green “10” still attracted 20 riders, and thirteen members of the North Road Cycling Club competing in Round 5 of the Ken Davis Salver. The times were slower than last week, even for Brian Robertson, aiming for a hat-trick of Personal bests, only four seconds for success, was beaten by the wind, coming past the timekeeper in 21:50, taking out 3:24 minutes out of second place Peter Nunn. While other riders was losing time, John Davy improved his last week time by 10 seconds.
