RIDERS IN THE POPULAR EVENT
Coming
towards the end of the Brickendon Green 10 series and on a cooler night,
there was a record turnout of 38 riders taking part in the most popular club
event in the area. Eighteen riders from North Road competed in Round, with the
silver and bronze medals up for grabs. The winner again was Brian Robertson with
a time of 21:13. In second place was Neil Lewis with a time of 22:44. The race
for the bronze medals is hotting up with Darren Rochford luckily grabbing third
position by one second over Richard Somerset. North Roads new member Richard
Norris rode his first Brickendon Green 10 coming past the finishing line
in 26:11.
