ROUND 13 – 2003 KEN DAVIS SALVER “10”, BRICKENDON GREEN 

On one of the hottest racing days for years a large field assembled for the Brickendon Green “10” Time Trial with 19 North Roaders competing in Round 13 of the Ken Davis Salver. It was a good night for racing; Roger Bishop, Peter Nunn, Darren Rochford, Jonathan Appleby and Andy Gilbert all achieved PB’s. and Richard Somerset rode his personal best time for four years. Nick Harris rode his best time for 2003. Once again the winner was the current leader Brian Robertson with a time of 21:03, collecting 10 points, one minute and one second ahead of second place Pete. In third place Richard just pipped Darren by two seconds to take third position. Mike Harvey rode his first Brickendon Green event for 2003. Unfortunately for Chris Bullock punctured at the bottom of Brickendon Lane and did not finish.
