03 KEN DAVIS SALVER “10”, BRICKENDON GREEN 

SALVER ENDS WITH 34 RIDERS

The last Salver event of the 2003 season went out with a bang, 34 riders with twenty North Roaders competing for their last points or to complete ten counting rides. With Brian Robertson the winner the silver went to Neil Lewis (91 points) and bronze to Richard Somerset (86 points), despite the absence of Neil, and Richard starting but not finishing. Brian collected the last ten points, he competed in fifteen rounds and collected maximum points. Just missing out on the medals was Darren Rochford, he just missed out of bronze medal by two points. Tim Jenkins knocked two seconds off his best for 2003. The overall winner for the second week running was Roger Bryant (Blue Sky Cycles) coming past the finishing line in 20:50.
